Long Trail Shuttle?

I'm considering walking part of the Long Trail, maybe Lincoln Gap to Smuggler's Notch. I would like to start Thursday or Friday morning, or possibly a day earlier or later. Is there any taxi service, hiker shuttle, or any here on VFTT who can give me and a friend a ride from my car to the other end of the trail? It's a 40 mile drive and I'm looking to pay about $40-50. I'm a little flexible with dates and locations.

(The ATC Shuttle List doesn't have anyone local. No surprise, since Lincoln Gap/Smuggler's Notch isn't on the AT.)

Hey, you might try calling the GMC. I think they keep a list of people willing to shuttle folks for LT hikes. Have fun!
