Trail Conditions: Piper was dry. A few muddy spots on Weetamoo but that trail is in overall great shape - probably from little use.
This was a great day to be up in the mountains early. You could see the stormy weather to the east but all great views of Franconia to Washington to the Carters. Saw about 20 hawks over the period of an hour - on migration.
