Trail Conditions: good condition, little to no mud, no downed trees to climb over.

Special Equipment Required: Early on a long sleeve shirt, when out on bare ledges sunglasses & later in the day when the wind picked up some, some wind protection. No biting bugs!

Comments: Optional - parked at Cannon & rode my bike to Lafayette place to start hiking. Needed gloves & an extra layer or two for the early AM ride. Bike path in fine shape. Got to the lake early enough to see some mist rising from the lake. Beautiful Day, Kinsman Ridge trail over the Cannonballs kicked my butt, trail does not get as much use as the section from Kinsman Junction to the Kinsmans. Saw a group of Scouts in this section that took the tram up Cannon & then were heading to Kinsman Pond.

Congratulations to Wayne Rutledge who finihsed the NH 48 on South Kinsman!
