Trails & Conditions
Hancock Notch Trail: In good shape
Cedar Brook Trail: All water crossing are easy, inch or so of snow past Hancock Loop Trail Junction, very wet in places, no ice but snow and leaf's hiding some boot-sucking mud spots
Thoreau Falls Trail: First half of trail is in excellent shape, second half of trail to Ethan Pond trail junction has snow in spots and care must be taken to follow the trail because the blazes on the trees stop and trail is hard to follow
Ethan Pond Trail: Perfect shape!
Zeacliff Trail: Inch or two of snow, not much ice though, no traction needed just be cautious on steep parts
Twinway: A few inches of snow, some ice in places, one minor blowdown, traction not needed but saw few people were wearing microspikes
Lend-A-Hand Trail: Snow and wet in places, Bogs very well placed on this trail
Hale Brook Trail: Snow until about 3000 feet and then wet and muddy in spots but in good shape for the most part

Special Equipment Required: Brought my poles and microspikes but didn't need them

Comments: Cold day but clear skies and no wind, views of Presidential Range from Twinway were crystal clear and awesome. Some pics and report here http://dailey7779.blogspot.com/
