Lower down, trail was mostly dry but there were a lot more little runoffs than I remembered. Higher up there was some ice but nobody seemed to be using traction. In the mossy stuff, it was frozen on top but not underneath so crunchy to walk on. No snow anywhere, tram not running.

The purpose of my trip was to have another look at the old survey marker and tape some measurements. There are 3 bent rod anchors roughly 4'-9", 7'-2", and 10'-8" apart - hard to measure by myself when they are at different heights and ground is rough. The "middle" one with the chiseled triangle is 17'-0" from the newer survey disk. I hunted for another anchor awhile but did not dig up dirt or rocks and didn't find it. For now I'm considering the triangle as the survey mark until someone finds better evidence.

A few photos which don't show the triangle very well
