Bread Loaf & Wilson Via Skyline trail / LT

Date of Hike: November 15, 2009

Trail Conditions: Skyline trail was damp but in pristine condition after yesterdays rains. A couple muddy spots and the river crossings were swollen but nothing a hop, skip and jump couldn't fix. A very gradual incline through a open hardwood forest made an enjoyable hike. 2 downed trees were easily hoppable.

The LT was full of puddles and the section from Bread Loaf to the Emily Proctor Shelter was an ankle deep river.

Special Equipment Required: In hindsight gaiters would have been nice for the wet and muddy sections.

Comments: I was surprised not to encounter any snow. The sun peaked through the clouds the same hour I was on the summit ridge. Mist started falling upon descent. #80 and #81 on my quest for 100.
