A really steep scramble starting about a 1/3 mile in from 3/4 car parking area to the shoulders South Brace. Dry leaves over protruding granite and the incline made traction slippery, especially coming down. There are plenty grab holds for the scramble over the steep bare granite higher up. Recommend poles .
