Date of Hike: Sunday 12/13
Trail conditions: trail well broken below treeline, a few blowdowns, lots of bare rocks on the ridge, just a few icy spots, .
Special Equipment Required: barebooted the entire loop, microspikes not really needed but wouldn't hurt, snowshoes not needed.
Comments: very windy on the ridge around 1 pm but not too cold. Saw just one pair of hikers doing the loop in addition to our group of 4. Changing weather made for dramatic views.
