Trails are packed thin snow, but now frozen into rock. Some of the stream crossings were still weak ice or still flowing (surprising given the temps). Microspikes were useful on the trails.
Snow off trail is crunchy and only 3" deep in the shadier areas, exposed ground on the southerly facing areas. Used snowshoes, but not needed.
