Conditions: There were few inches of fresh snow, which was a bit deeper and softer above the junction with the Mizpah cut-off. The few blowdowns on Crawford Path presented no problems. Views above treeline and on the summit were spectacularly beautiful (with a cobalt blue sky). The wind on the summit was not too bad, but one person in our party of three did get some frostnip on her face within a few minutes of exposure to the wind (which went away shortly after putting on a balaclava).
