North Face of Gothics

In a couple of weeks, I'm hoping to climb the Slide on the North Face of Gothics. I posted this in Dec. and got many great replies, including some aerial photos, which were superb!

My first question relates to the first photo;

We plan on going to the base of the Main Face, contouring east(left) to the slide just to the left of the base. We'll climb that till it joins the long slide to the left of the face, and take that to the top. In this pic, it's called the True North Slide.

However, in this photo' it is refered to as the Ribbon Slide.

Are these two different names for the same thing? Or is the small slide branching to the right a different name?

The biggest question I have for those in the know is; how steep is the very top of this slide? It looks like it gets narrow and runs right along the cliff face. Is it passable without equipment or is it technical? Can one hug the woods on its left side? Here's a photo of that part;

I would love to hear your opinions and thoughts.

Thanks
Tom

Very doable

Hi Mass!
The Ribbon and True North are the same.
The steep cliffy section is steep and cliffy but doable without technical gear. The slide is very deep with moss and growth.
Thanks for the great photos!!
