Trail packed and solid, we used microspikes the entire time. One big blowdown on Moosilauke Carriage Road, very easy to step around.
Special equipment needed: light traction, snowshoes just-in-case, and full winter headgear. I now understand how snow blindness occurs...we were very happy to have our goggles!
