Trail Conditions: all trails hard packed with 1" of powder, except the stretch between Hight and Carter Dome, which was drifted slightly.
Equipment: used Microspikes all day, except descending to Carter Notch where crampons were useful. Snow shoes would have helped between Hight and Carter.
Comments: beautiful cold day on the Carters. Many people on the trails today, quite likely due to the forecast winds.
