Just got in from making snowangels and a snow man. We have about 4" on the ground, still falling and the last time the area(Augusta, GA) had any measurable snow fall was in '02. Going mt biking tomorrow. Wishing my x/c skiis were here not at my folks house in MA.

This sure is sometihing. I just read it myself. Although here in Northern PA we only have about 4 inches on the ground

My kids were begging to go out this morning (at 6:30) We, yes including me, played in 5" of the white stuff 'til 9:30. Also, mt biked 9.5 miles on a local trail. That was a blast. Now anything that was is the sun is gone

Only 49?

I though that Mauna Kea had snow in the winter. Although somewaht sparse wouldn't that qualify as 50 states with snow on the ground?

I've had a lontime goal to ski and dive in the same day....and Hawaii was the location for it...is my dream dead from Global Warming?

No snow on Mauna Kea

I looked at webcams for both Mauna Loa and Mauna Kea and don't see snow.

When my wife mentioned the article my 1st thought was Floridia was the hold out also.

Florida got hit with some snow on the panhandle part, along with the other southern states around there friday I think.
