Trail Conditions: Trail broken out to summit. Loose granular surface. important snow bridges still intact; smaller ones breaking up.

Special Equipment Required: Entire hike was barebootable although traction of any kind would work. Postholing not a problem - some soft snow on flats near York/Bunnell trail crossing. Full winter gear for temps.

Comments: Beautiful day for this nice 10 miler. Good clear views from open areas near summit. Found the summit sign after 10-15 minutes hike from cabin. Lots of trails that peter out on summit cone. Sign at trailhead says they are considering a $30/night fee at Cabin and want comments on this (USFS). Saw 5 others.
