Date of Hike: 14 February 2010
Trail Conditions: Trail broken out solidly to summit. Snow and ice bridges still intact.
Special Equipment Required: Trail barebootable much of the way although traction helped on steeper sections. Used snowshoes after the WJ loop junction at 1.3 miles. Partner never used traction. Full winter gear for temps and wind up high - goggles/face protection needed for any extended time above treeline.
Comments: Cloudy with flurries and light snow much of day. Wind picked up substantially near the summit cone and was probably in the 50-60 range on the summit - enough to push me around quite a bit. Two quick pictures before diving back down into the protection of the trees. Nice 3-hour hike.
