Greetings from the summit of da Wash where I am leading the first MWO Edu-trip to get up the Auto Road since the big storm. If you were thinking about skiing the Presi traverse (there was a thread here somewhere, I think), now is the time to do it. I have not seen so little exposed rock up here since the April Nor'easter a few years ago. Spectacular sunrise this morning, with light winds around 20 mph, temperature around 10 F; next three days are looking promising, but unfortunately I will be in Colorado (spring break). :( :)
 
yeah FARMER.. you'd beat your summer time going -down-, with a nice mini snow avy to help ya out. Butt with you, it's always firm, right? ;)
 
Yes, from the Obsy, we could see the huge cornices above North and Damnation gullies, but could not see the tops of Yale, Central, Pinnacle, and Odells, so be careful out there.
