A Pleasant Afternoon

Like Ed and Lauky, my son and I hiked Pleasant Mountain today, Saturday 3/13, via the South West Ridge. I could not do a better job of describing the trail conditions than Ed already has. I THINK it was Ed anyway. Unless, by chance, he let Lauky write it up this time. =)

Sometimes (well, maybe all the time) it's about who you're hiking with, not where you're hiking. Thanks to my son Ethan for a great outing today.

I think you two may have pulled in just as Lauky and I were leaving. At least if you parked across the road from the main parking.

Loved your pictures. Hiking with your son is a special treat, treasure it.

Mt. Pleasant has always proven to be such a great mid to late spring hike (you get some wonderful views of the snow arch in Tuckermans). Perhaps one of these winters I will get up there and see what it is like with snow on the ground!
