Took a quick hike up Mt. Tremper this afternoon. The trail is bare for the first mile and a half (occasional snow and ice patches), and deep snow higher up (18" - 24"). I switched to snowshoes for the last mile to the firetower and was glad to have them in the soft snow. Trail is basically a streambed right now.
