Mt. Pleasant, Ledges Trail, 27 Mar

The lower section along the old road was rather wet and muddy but easy enough to step over or around the worst sections. There were a few short patches of not-very-deep snow near the top. Otherwise the trail is clear and dry.

Equipment: Snowshoes and traction NOT needed. We used summer hiking footwear and layers for the cool weather. I wore knee-high gaiters but they were overkill.

Comments: Beautiful day! Lots of sun coming through the leafless trees.
