I went here because I heard that the dam had breached in the big rains last week. Sure enough, there is a 25 foot section of dam missing, but one can easly climb down and cross the outlet stream
The dirt road from Canochet Rd to the dam shows ATV wear and parts might be difficult on a bike. The little rise to the dam was extrensively eroded and the dirt road is now just a deep lane filled with rocks.
Going on the trail, the dam to the left of the breach was intact but there was evidence that water ran across it. the rest of the trail was good condition, the dirt road from the old foundation to Canchet Rd was in much better shape, though now it is a narrow path though mountain laurel.
There was still a lot of water in the pond and the level might be just a bit lower than the amount I have seen in past dry summers.
