Not really backcountry, but still outdoors 
I was looking at the peony buds in the garden and saw that insects were all over all of them:
Would love to know what they are and what they are doing. They obviously look ant-like, but what are they after? The buds are still closed tight, so it cannot be a matter of pollination.
