As mentioned by StuBiscuit trail conditions up Algonquin were a little wet and worn, but overall clear of any blowdown. The trail over to Iroquois was easy to follow, although very tight in spots. Mud was definately there through the bogs but it was manageble with no boot dunks! A couple rock scrambles and I had Iroquois all to myself. The steward training group was still on Algonquin when I came back through. Asked him about the fly/bees that were dive-bombing us and was told they were a type of alpine fly. Bugs were worse on the way back down; put on several doses of bug spray.
Overall, gorgeous day!

Equipment: waterproof boots, sunscreen, bugspray, poles.
