Dry and smooth trail conditions. Heavy load of biting bugs but not too bad with a bit of bug spray. We hiked 7 miles from the Lake Placid end to Wanika Falls and enjoyed the falls and the dry rock area and the sunshine. There were a few downed trees that crossed the main trail.
Nice hike for a beginner or a change of pace from the Peaks.
