Date of Hike: 13 June 2010
Trail Conditions: Trail from Marshfield Station to Lake of the Clouds Hut is now totally free of blowdowns and has been brushed. Trail is relatively wet in the lower section before Gem Pool and relatively dry above Gem Pool. Crossings were not difficult.
Special Equipment Required: bug spray.
Comments: Nice day to catch up on trail work on Ammo Ravine. I was psyched to see the blowdown mess below Gem Pool had been cleared recently(USFS?) Thanks! Only had 3 blowdowns left to cut/chop out and some brushing. Very still above treeline. Windmills on the hut were not moving at all. Pretty nice views today from Monroe - started to fill in with clouds later in the afternoon.
