Hiked Owl's Head on Tues, 6/29. Conditions were great--some clouds and sun and not too hot. The trail was in good condition all the way--no obstacles to mention.
The rivers were moderate, so we did the bushwhack from Franconia Falls to where the Lincoln Brook Trail crosses the Lincoln Brook. The bushwhack was more like a well-worn, but unmaintained path along the Brook. It is a little tricky in spots, but it was always easy to pick up again when lost.
There is a cairn at the bottom of the slide to mark the path, but I did not see one at the top. There is, however, a sign marked "owls head" at the summit.
