Date of Hike: 7/2/10
Trail Conditions: Perfect weather, cool and dry. There were no bugs all day long. Rocky Branch was dry most of the way except for a few areas of mud. There was a major blow down on Isolation. Isolation and Davis were soaked in about 4” of water for miles of the trail. It was like walking up a running stream bed. The water crossings were easy enough as long as you don’t mind jumping. The day consisted of a lot of rock hopping. The views were excellent with clear dry skies. Overall a great hike in perfect weather.
