Trails: Glen Boulder Trail to Davis Path to Boot Spur peak. Lawn Cut-off to Summit. Down via Lion's Head Trail and Tuckerman highway.

Conditions: Weather and trail conditions were perfect.

Comments: We (I mostly) were a little slow up to Glen Boulder, but then made up time. Enjoyed meeting quite a few people, including a couple from NYC and their dog who were heading to Maine in the next few days to see Acadia and Baxter and were able to let them know they couldn't bring their dog into Baxter. Enjoyed a cold iced-tea in the summit building. Finished our hike out with a friendly man from Mass. whose friends had hiked on ahead of him. He was feeling pretty lame, I think he was out of water, and he had no light with him. We made it out just after dark, greeted by the cheering of his three friends!

P.S. There seems to be a fresh area of blowdown on Lion's Head that was significantly more than we noticed just a month ago. The trail was clear of brush, though.
