So, I don't usually post reports (I'm too lazy), but I figured I'd highlight Porchop's (the golden retriever's) accomplishment last week. When he climbed Garfield on Sun 8/15 for the fifth time. Beautiful day with a Boston chapter AMC group. We started at 9:30 in the morning and finished just after 4:00
Porkchop is 12, but he still hikes a lot - he did a Presidentail traverse daytrip in June. He's now done each of the NH 48 five times. Yesterday, he did Whiteface and Passaconaway, so he's down below 12 till he's done all 48 six times... This begs the questions: What's the canine record for number of times doing the 48?
