East Branch Trail (northward from end of East Branch Road for 3+ miles to a point near "height-of-land"):
This segment of trail was easy to follow and very navigable. However, there were some muddy spots, and there were a few blowdowns, as might be expected for a trail that is less-traveled. Also, there were a few spots here & there that could use some brushing.
This segment of trail was used as an approach route for a trek to a 2,941 ft peak located just west of North Baldface. It is unnamed on topographic maps, but often referred to by various names such as "Baldface West", or "West Baldface", or "West Peak, North Baldface".
Some details about this hike (plus a few photos) are located in the Trip Reports forum. (Click HERE)
