Date of Hike: Monday, September 6th
Trail Conditions: Hancock Notch and Cedar Brook Trails are in good shape with a only a couple of minor avoidable mud spots. All the water crossings are very easy. Hancock Loop Trail is in mostly good shape except for a section just before ascending up South Hancock (going clockwise) there is an awful mud pit where the bog bridges have dissapeared and it's tough not to get muddy.
Comments: Arrow slide is very steep and tons of fun with great views of the Osceola's and Scar Ridge. Caution should be used and it should only be attempted by hikers comfortable with steep slides or if going with someone who has been on it before to lead the way.
