Comments: Rte 185, Talcott Mtn, Rte 44, Tower and back. Nice crowd at Heublein Tower Annual Friends of The Tower Day and no clouds obscuring views S of Sleeping Giant, W of Mohawk Mtn & Bear Mtn, N of Mt. Tom and W of Hartford and hills of Shenipsit Ridgeline. Eisenhower Chair is museum highlight (Yay to Interstate Highway System). Very clean Portapotty at MDC Resevoir # 6.
Heading south to complete the Metacomet to Rattlesnake Mtn and the Hanging Hills
