Little River State Park - Stevenson Brook / Sawmill Loop / Dalley Loop 10/22/10

Really nice place for a late autumn hike. Trail is generally dry and stable, stream crossings are bridged, views through the leafless hardwoods are getting better, and the wind that was punishing the higher peaks today was reasonably well tempered by the valley/basin location. The stream is beautiful, and the logging camp remains and old farmstead remnants are very interesting.

Park gate is now closed; anticipate and extra .7 mile walk from the dam to the trailhead until spring.
