Date of Hike: 10/23/2010
Trail Conditions: generall dry very low but then some snow & ice, the higher you went the more we found, A few spots where teh sun hit were bare, some mud also. No significant blowdowns to speak of.
Special Equipment Required: Warm clothes, wind protection, we didn't get to goggles but we did'nt linger on Jackson long either. Trees on Pierce provided some shelter. Micro-spikes were perfect, of course I didn't have them.
Comments: Optional - Cold for October but not unexpected. Warm at the hut, lots of people having lunch outside. See upcoming trip report by Tony for more details on the trip. Had a great hike.
