I only had time to hike to the first open ledges on Blueberry Mountain (Evans Notch) via the White Cairn Trail. This trail is in good shape.
As anyone knows who has hiked this trail, there is a very steep section on the final approach to the ledges. If it's been awhile since you've been on this trail, then you're in for a pleasant surprise. A crew has recently completed the construction of a long stone staircase for that section of trail. It's a truly remarkable piece of work.
