Comments: Hiked from Hill-Stead Museum Trails to Rattlesnake, then Pinnacle Rock down to Rte 372 and then Yellow Cab back to Museum for Open House. Fun scrambles around Rattlesnake and nice ups and downs. 270 degree views S of TV towers. Brisk, dry weather and superb collection of Manet, Degas, Monet and Mary Cassatt paintings displayed where originally hung. Stunning.
Special Equipment Required: Cell Phone and Cash for Taxi in time to see collection and not double back.
Other: I am such a cheap SOB that I never pay for a cab in NYC but, today it was a real treat paying for a ride back after a 3.5 hr hike and increasing my daytime experiences.
