Hiked from closed parking lot south of Sholan Farms to the terminus at West Street in Leominster, with a lot of winding along the side yellow blazed trails. As noted in an earlier thread, there is a bit of a challenge by Wachusett St. where logging to clear trees topped by the ice storm is ongoing. Some blockage of trails, but not insurmountable. Along steep sections several rocks are slick and wet with leaves, so caution is advisable. Overall trail conditions are quite good, with only some spots muddy or wet.
On another note, if anyone finds a pair of Native sunglasses on the northern section of the trail I'd be grateful if you could let me know. I managed to lose them after dark. I assume they are gone forever, but who knows?
