Trail Conditions: Excellent, hard thin crust made for good traction with microspikes on slopes.
Special Equipment Required: Microspikes
Comments: A nice quick loop, unfortunately the view from South Terrace was in the clouds. The biggest issue we had was the blazing of the trail going up the south side of south Terrace, the trail runs through a large birch glade and due to little use, the trail bed is not obvious with snow on it. There are blazes but they are on birch trees and many are curling off with the bark. The entire ridge and trail down to Bunnel notch is real obvious
