From Where: Jug End Road, southbound on the AT
Why: Haven't hiked Everett from the north...
No snowshoes were carried or needed, about 3-4" of snow on the ground in various places... Some icy spots on the road between the Stone leanto and the summit. Traction aids are helpful but not totally needed. I used microspikes for the descent of that short icy road section.
There is a big tree just northbound of the AT/Elbow trail junction that looks fairly recent. Have to 'whack around it. The tree is completely covering the trail.
