Three of us were on the hike over a previously packed trail. There were Ten inches of fairly new snow at higher elevations. There is enough snow Ranger Jim might be displeased should he find hikers without snowshoes. However, most rock has decent cover so the shoes won't get too ground down. It was cloudy at lower elevations but the summit was in the sun--very nice.
