The trail is well packed all the way to the false summit. Snow field above the alpine zone sign is hard packed by the elements, you could hardly see or leave any tracks. The trail in the col is broken but soft packed. No big snow drift to negotiate at all. Very windy at the summit, no views of Macintyre but awesome views of Marcy and its neighbors. Snowshoes.
