Group of 8 of us hiked up to Table Rock and the Grafton Notch Lean-to today. We took the upper trail to Table Rock because it is less steep. Some barebooted with a little bit of difficulty due to the ice on the trail (some of which is thick), but the rest of us used stabilicers, which worked perfect. Snowshoes are NOT needed for this trail right now. You will not want to bring them.

We also hiked up to the lean-to at the of the Baldplates. This section of the A.T. is very snowshoeable (15inches of snow). Some of us barebooted and it was pretty tough.

Table Rock is a beautiful hike that we've wanted to do for years. It lives up to its reputation. We'll have to do Old Speck next time!
