Point to point hike starting at Big Hollow Road and ending at Barnum Rd. Trails used- Black Dome Range Trail (R) to Batavia Trail (Y) to Escarpment Trail (B) Up Blackhead to Blackhead Mountain Trail (Y) into the col between Blackhead and Black Dome mountains. Taking Black Dome Range Trail (R) to Black Dome and Thomas Cole Mountains finishing at Barnum Rd. Broke trail most of the way. Powder hike- snowshoes required. Slid on our butts down steep declines-fun! Not many people out for such a beautiful day. Partly cloudy, comfortable temps and no wind.
