Date of Hike: 2/27/11
Trail Conditions: Started south of Sholan farms, ended Granite St. parking lot. Near Sholan trails are well broken out, with clear snowshoe tracks. From the reservoir through sign post 19 no others had hiked since before the snow. Someone did a lot of postholing before the snow in the south section. Some of the steeper areas have streams running under snow bridges, and I broke through in one or two spots.
Special Equipment Required: Snowshoes useful, snow cover on most of trail.
Comments: Snow cover minimized sliding. It looks like there is still 1 to 2 feet of snow cover in most places, but that is likely going away soon.
