Trail - Primarily the Green Weaver from the Saddleback ski area

Conditions: Beautiful snow, friendly people, very cold and windy -- the upper lifts and trails were closed to skiers

Equipment: Layers, face and eye protection, snowshoes

Comments: If you go, keep to the edge of the lower and upper Green Weaver. Turn left at the warming hut to the top of the upper lift. The trail goes to the right of the buildings, then heads to the left. The main trail is pretty icy at ridge line. We had trouble standing upright in the wind so decided not to continue over to the Horn. One skier in the warming hut commented that he thought it was dangerous for the ski area to allow snowshoers, but we only saw one other on the trails and he was off to the far side, too.
