From :Notch Visitor's center (which was closed)
Route: Out to Rattlesnake via the M-M trail, back via Robert Frost. Then out and back to Hitchcock west of 116...
A friend and I wandered around the Holyoke Range on a beautiful sunday, on somewhat quiet trails despite being so close to Northhampton and many colleges in central Mass. Snow is pretty much gone except for the monorail and no traction aids were needed or used sunday.
Pretty little ridge, kind of reminds me of the southern taconics with views towards the connecticut river valley and the farmlands in and around UMass.
