Date of Hike: 03/20/2011
Trail Conditions: dry and snowfree, a little bit of rock hopping where the brook empties into the cove.
Special Equipment Required: none
Comments: Optional - This 1.5 mile loop is in the shadow of Mohegan Sun and not far from Foxwoods. (Lantern Hill is right next to Foxwoods if you end up there & looking for a short hike). While this also is on a cove on LIS,this has more up & down than I'd think for a hike virtually on Long Island Sound. This is a Nature Conservancy Property. Cub Scouts will be hiking this in a couple of weeks for their April hike.
