out and back from thiel rd via the t-bolt ski trail
Patchy snow about a 1000ft in from the trailhead and then good snow about 1/2 mile in, enough to ski as we saw one skier coming down...
Microspikes somewhat useful for traction but we just barebooted to the summit and boot skied on the way down. Great views from the summit today and not too windy for once..
No need for snowshoes unless you want to use that for traction on the steep parts..
