Date of Hike: Saturday, April 9th
Trail Conditions: All trails broken out and easy to follow (thank you to the group from yesterday!). Snow was hard packed in the morning and softened up in the afternoon. Was able to microspike it all the way up to Bond without postholing, there is a spot where the broken out trail leaves the trail proper for about 100 feet as one heads up into the scrub section ascending Bond, it's fine for now but spruce traps may be hiding underneath so just watch out with warmer temps softening snow. From Bond to West Bond snowshoes a must. West Bond Spur Trail has 2 spots where another path goes to the right, I put dead branches at the start of these. Snow depths high in spots between Bond and West Bond so watch out for branches to the face!
Special Equipment: microspikes and snowshoes...snowshoes a must in the afternoon
