Conditions: Mostly a dry trailbed, except fror a few wet sections on
Dry Brook Trail. Snow is completely melted.
Widlife Sightings: Spotted what looked like a Falcon on the
Dry Brook Trail. Canadian Geese in one of the small ponds.
The first sign of wildflowers beginning to bloom could be seen while
ascending the Metacomet-Monadnock Trail down to
Taylor Notch from Mount Holyoke.
Streams were running at full blast along flat section of Dry Brook
Trail..
Summit House on Mount Holyoke is still off-limits. Loop hike
took about 2 hours, beginning at Mountain Rd., just off Rte. 47
in Hadley.
